The national teams of Azerbaijan and Turkey will play a friendly.

Report quotes the Turkish head coach as saying in his interview with RT Spor that Antalya will host the match on May 26 next year.

Şenol Güneş said that the Turkish national team is delighted to play the Euro 2020 group stage matches in Azerbaijan.

Notably, Wales and Switzerland will face each other at the Baku Olympic Stadium on June 13. On June 17, Turkey will meet Wales, and on June 21, Switzerland will encounter Turkey in Baku. Moreover, one of the quarterfinal matches will also take place in Baku.

Italy and Turkey will play against each other at the Olimpico Stadium in Rome in the opening match of Euro 2020.
