Award ceremony of Minifootball World Cup held in Baku

The award ceremony of the winners of the Minifootball World Cup has been held in Baku, Report informs.

The event at the National Gymnastics Arena was attended by President of the World Minifootball Federation Filip Juda, Vice-President Peter Kralik, President of the Minifootball Federation of Azerbaijan Orkhan Mammadov, Vice-President Taleh Nasibov, Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Farid Gayibov and other officials.

Minister Gayibov spoke about the high level of organization of the World Cup in Baku and congratulated the people of Azerbaijan on their victory. The head of the Minifootball Federation of Azerbaijan Mammadov expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the victory, emphasizing that Baku hosted a grandiose World Cup.

Then the Azerbaijani team, which won the World Cup, was awarded gold medals and a cup. The Hungarian footballers, who took second place, were awarded silver medals, and the Serbian team, who took third place, were awarded bronze medals.
