Arsenal intends to sign a new forward this summer and has laid the groundwork in the winter window, despite not bringing in a new addition, Report informs via TEAMtalk.
The London club is interested in four forwards: Evan Ferguson, a striker of West Ham United on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion; Alexander Isak from Newcastle; Igor Jesus from the Brazilian team Botafogo; and Benjamin Sesko from the German club Leipzig.
The Gunners thrashed Manchester City 5-1 last weekend but a disappointing 2-0 (4-0 on aggregate) defeat to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup semi-final exposed again the lack of a target striker.
