Arda Turan decides to return to the Turkish national team

Baku. 8 August. REPORT.AZ/ Arda Turan, who has ended his career in the Turkish national football team, changed his mind.

Report informs citing Fanatik, 30-year-old midfielder of Spain’s Barcelona FC has taken this step after meeting with new head coach of the team Mircea Lucesku.

It was reported that the Romanian head coach met with Turan on August 7 before “Barcelona” - “Chapecoense” match and convinced him to return to the national team.

Notably, at a press conference on June 6, Arda Turan announced that he ended his team career. He made such a decision amid a row surrounding his attack on sports journalist Bilal Meşe.
