WB to prepare special research on Azerbaijan

Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov met with a delegation led by World Bank Country Manager for Azerbaijan Sarah Michael in a video conference, the Ministry's press service told Report.

It was noted at the meeting that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to cooperation with the World Bank and that these relations are multifaceted

The sides discussed the development of cooperation with the Bank and support for reforms in Azerbaijan, the importance of particular economic and financial research to be prepared by the World Bank in Azerbaijan, and highlighted the main aspects of the study.

The Bank's Country Economic Memorandum (CEM), Financial Sector Assessment Program (FSAP), and Systematic Country Diagnostic (SCD) studies will contribute to achieving the priority development goals.

The sides exchanged views on cooperation with the Ministry of Economy in preparing the research.
