WB forecasts 5.5% inflation for Azerbaijan

The annual inflation rate in Azerbaijan is projected to boost to 5.5% in 2021, Report informs, referring to Europe and Central Asia Economic Update by the World Bank.
The Bank forecasts the inflation rate at 4.5% in 2022 and 4.1% in 2023.
According to the State Statistical Committee of the country, the annual inflation rate in the eight months of 2021 stood at 4.8%.
Asian Development Bank (ADB) expects inflation to be at 4.5% this year, 3% in 2022.
