In 2021, Azerbaijan’s Accounts Chamber revealed 54% of portfolio audits; in 2022, this figure increased to 60%, Chairman of the Accounts Chamber Vugar Gulmammadov said at the international scientific and practical conference “Sustainable Development. Accountability. Transparency” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, Report informs.
“In 2023, we strive to increase this figure. We believe that informing the public about the work done as a result of the audit can make this goal more effective,” Gulmammadov noted.
