Volume of deposits in Nakhchivan’s banks up by over 20%

As of July 1 of this year, the volume of term deposits of residents in the banks operating in Nakhchivan amounted to 15.2 million manats ($8.9 million), Report informs, referring to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Office of the Central Bank.

According to the information, this is 20.2% more than the same period of 2022.

Of this, 95.3% or 14.5 million manats 9$8.5 million) were invested in national currency, and 4.7% or 720,700 manats ($423,991) were invested in foreign currency, 22.1% more and 7.7% less year-on-year.
