Visa rep: Global EV market to reach $900B in 2028

One of the key issues in the financial world is the impact of new trends that increase the demand for financial resources, Nurlan Hajiyev, regional manager of Visa in Azerbaijan, said at the Green Finance conference organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AmCham Azerbaijan), Report informs.

"One of the new trends is the growth of the electric vehicle market. We predict that its global value will reach $900 billion in 2028. In addition, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) expects that by 2030, 75% of vehicles will run on electricity. There are also different approaches in the field of agriculture, mobility and utilities that create new requirements," he added.
