Azerbaijan has $ 2 bln deficit in balance of payments

In January-September 2020, the total deficit of Azerbaijan's balance of payments stood at $ 1,803.7 million. However, in the same period last year, the balance of payments observed a surplus of $4,166.8 million.
Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan that the overall loss is due to the residue of $208.3 million in the country's current account balance, capital account deficit of $ 7.6 million (2,05 times more), financial account deficit of $ 2,105.6 million (6,2 times more) and residue of $ 517,8 million on balancing items (+2,05%).
