Tax authorities in Azerbaijan increase budget transfers by 68%

In January-august 2022, the tax agencies of Azerbaijan transferred 9,787.4 million manats ($5.76 billion) to the state budget, up 67.8% from the previous year, Minister of Economy MIkayil Jabbarov said, Report informs.
As the minister noted, tax revenues from the non-oil and gas sector increased by 33.6% over the year and amounted to 5 billion 698.8 million manats in 8 months.
Moreover, the minister noted that 5,698.8 million manats ($3.35 billion) of the 8-month tax revenues came from the non-oil and gas sector, 33.6% more than a year ago.
