SOCAR bond owners get over $ 14 mln preferential loan

Baku. 7 February. REPORT.AZ/ The amount of re-purchase transactions (REPO) on securities market of Azerbaijan with the bonds of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has sharply increased.

Report informs referring to the "PSG Kapital", a market-maker of the bonds.

According to the report, since beginning of this year, 4 REPO transactions using SOCAR bonds were implemented and contracts were signed. On the basis of these contracts, SOCAR bonds owners attracted over $ 2.7 mln with a low interest rate.

Totally, 17 contracts on REPO transactions were concluded, the owners have attracted $ 14.4 million loans.
