Share of oil and gas sector in foreign direct investments made in Azerbaijan's economy down

In 2023, the share of the oil and gas sector in the foreign direct investments ($6.7 billion) made in the economy of Azerbaijan was 69.9%, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

According to the information, this figure was 71% by 2022.

Last year, foreign direct investments increased by 6.3% compared to the previous year.
