SGC posts $727M net profit in first half of 2023

The Southern Gas Corridor CJSC (SGC) ended the first half of 2023 with $726.6 million in net profit, Report informs.
The operating income amounted to $1,391.42 million, the cost of sales made up $245.119 million, general and administrative expenses $164.254 million, transportation costs $69.165 million, other income $27.944 million, interest income $46.169 million, share of the result of associates $34.811 million, finance costs $284.79 million, foreign exchange loss $2.75 million, and income tax expenses $13.161 million.
As of July 1, 2023, total assets amounted to $14,704.831 million.
Total liabilities stood at $8,274.476 million and net worth at $6,430.355 million.
