Russia increases key rate to 7.5%

The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Russia decided to increase the interest rate by 0.75 percentage points to 7.75% from 6.75%, Report informs, citing Russian media.
The Central Bank increased the interest rate from 4.25% to 4.5% on March 19, from 4.5% to 5% on April 23, from 5% to 5.5% on June 11, from 5.5% to 6.5% on July 23 and from 6.5% to 6.75% on September 10.
