Russia increases investments in US government bonds

Baku. 16 February. REPORT.AZ/ In December 2018, Russia increased the investments in US government bonds, Report informs citing Russian media.

As at the end of December, the investments in the US government bonds amounted to $13.216 billion, up $402 million from November. $5.105 billion of the investments were made in long-term bonds, $8.111 billion – in short-term bonds.

Generally, Russia declined investments in US government bonds.

The most investments in the US government bonds were made by China ($1.1 trillion).
