Role of new players in digital payment solutions discussed at Central Bank of Azerbaijan

Strengthening the role of new market players in the expansion of the application of digital payment solutions was discussed at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), Report informs citing the CBA.

In this regard, CBA General Director Farid Osmanov met with the representatives of the Azerbaijan Fintech Association.

Speaking about the development trends of the fintech ecosystem, Osmanov touched on the main points of strengthening the role of new market players in increasing accessibility to payment services, as well as expanding the use of digital payment solutions.

At the meeting, opinions were also exchanged on the CBA's special regulation regime and its possibilities.
