In Moldova, where the U.S. dollar has cheapened in 2017. The reason is the country's high trade relations with the European Union (EU) and the prospect of EU membership.
The decline in the dollar rate in Russia and Azerbaijan can be explained by the increase in oil and gas prices.
In Georgia, the dollar has dropped due to the country's tourism revenues and exports and the global economic conjuncture.
The dollar exchange rate in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Armenia and Belarus was less than 1%.
The noteworthy point is that in Kazakhstan, the sharp increase in oil production has not led to reduction in the U.S. dollar rate.
In Ukraine, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, along with economic factors, it can be noted that the influence of political factors on the dollar exchange rate is high.
Analytical Group of Report does not predict sharp decline in the U.S. dollar rate, in spite of the high global economic growth prospects in 2018 and the increase in energy carriers' prices.
