PwC Azerbaijan: VAT application in e-commerce may reduce banks customers

Baku. 10 January. REPORT.AZ/ Value-added tax (VAT) application in e-commerce in Azerbaijan may reduce customers of local commercial banks.
Report informs, PwC Azerbaijan General Manager for Tax Issues, Rizvan Gubiyev told Report.
According to him, as a result, the citizens will conduct e-commerce transactions via Georgian and Turkish bank cards.
R.Gubiyev also noted that empowering the banks with regulation of tax issues under the renewed Tax Code will cause additional costs.
PwC Azerbaijan Director for Tax Issues, Arif Guliyev said that amendments to the Tax Code have also affected the company's clients.
