PBOC strengthens yuan against dollar

The People's Bank of China (Central Bank) on Monday strengthened the yuan against the US dollar to its highest level in 30 months, Report says, citing the regulator's data.
Thus, the Central Bank set the average yuan-dollar exchange rate at 6.5719.
It is the highest rate of the yuan against the dollar since June 26, 2018. At that time, 1 US dollar was equal to 6.5782 yuan.
Earlier, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said that the yuan's stable exchange rate would be maintained at a rational level.
