Number of taxpayers grows by about 8% in Azerbaijan

As of April 1, 2024, the number of taxpayers registered in Azerbaijan was 1,537,952, up 7.5% from a year earlier, Report informs, citing the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.

According to the data, 87.3% of taxpayers are individuals, and 12.7% are legal entities and other organizations. Over the past year, the number of individuals increased by 7.4%, and the number of legal entities grew by 8%.
