Nominal effective exchange rate of Azerbaijani manat rises

The nominal effective exchange rate of the Azerbaijani manat against foreign currencies as of September 1 this year was 101.4 points, Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

This is 1.6 points more than in the monthly comparison, 6.2 points more than in the beginning of the year, and 5.8 points more than in the same period last year.

The real effective rate of the manat at the end of August this year amounted to 122.1 points. This is 0.3 points less than in the monthly comparison, as well as 0.2 points less than at the beginning of the year, and 3 points more than in the annual comparison.
