Net profit of Azerbaijan’s banking sector up by 18%

The banking sector of Azerbaijan achieved a net profit of 1.08 billion manats ($630 million) in 2023, 17.7% more than in 2022, Report informs.
Last year, pre-tax profits of banks amounted to 1.38 billion million manats ($810 million) (+17.7%), and profit tax payments amounted to 308.2 million manats ($181.34 million) (+17.9%).
