Mobile banking transactions in Azerbaijan down by over 7% in value

During the first quarter of 2025, the value of mobile banking transactions in Azerbaijan totaled 13.732 billion manats ($8.077 billion), marking a 7.3% decrease year-on-year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
Despite the decline in transaction value, the number of mobile banking transactions surged by 39.5% year-over-year, reaching 169,213.
Additionally, during January-March, internet banking transactions in Azerbaijan saw growth, with their total value increasing by 6.8% to 63.296 billion manats (almost $37.232 billion), and the number of operations climbing by 28.7% to 5,978.
