Ministry of Taxes hosts local entrepreneurs

Baku. 27 November. REPORT.AZ/ Training Center of the Ministry of Taxes (MoT) has held a meeting with taxpayers engaged in entrepreneurship activity in Shamakhi district.

Report informs citing the ministry, opening the event, Alakbar Mammadov, Advisor to the Minister of Taxes, Director General of Taxpayers' Service and Transparent Tax Partnership Department, told about 12 strategic roadmaps developed according to the relevant decree of the President late last year, noted that it has greatly contributed to the development of entrepreneurship.

He added that a number of events are being held to ensure effectiveness and transparency of the decisions taken to stimulate activities of small and medium businesses, proposals and problems faced by businessmen in the application of tax legislation and administration are being studied and purposeful work  carried out on their solution.

According to Mammadov, the MoT constantly pays attention towards enlightenment and informing entrepreneurs, as well as increasing the range and quality of propaganda.

Vusal Bayramov, Chief of Territorial Taxes Department No.4, Avaz Guliyev, Director of Tax Policy Office of Tax Policy and Strategic Researches Department and other employees of the ministry made presentations on current issues of tax administration and tax legislation.

Then discussions were held on the topics and questions of participants were answered.
