Minister: 'Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Investment Fund will strengthen economic cooperation'

The Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Investment Fund will contribute to the strengthening and expansion of bilateral economic cooperation, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov.

“We had discussions with Jamshid Khojayev, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, about the opportunities created by the friendship and multifaceted cooperation between our countries for the development of our economic and trade relations and the promotion of investments. As a result of the agreement between the heads of state of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan on the establishment of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Investment Fund will contribute to the strengthening and expansion of bilateral economic cooperation,” Mikayil Jabbarov tweeted.
