Malaysian oil and gas company's subsidiary closes its branch in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijani branch of "Petronas Azerbaijan (Shah Deniz) S.A.R.L.", a subsidiary of Malaysia's state-owned oil and gas company Petronas has announced its liquidation, Report informs, citing the Vergiler newspaper of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.
Thus, creditors can submit their claims to 8 Izmir Street, Yasamal district, Baku, within two months.
Petronas Azerbaijan was registered in 2015. Its legal representative is Nurunnajwa Binti Mohd Aras.
Petronas has been a shareholder in the Shah Deniz project for many years and sold a 1.2% stake in the project to BP late last year.
