IsDB encourages Azerbaijan's continued participation in ‘sukuk’ emissions

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) recently held discussions to expand cooperation in the realm of Islamic finance and “sukuk” issuance, Report informs via IsDB
The discussions took place during a meeting between Islamic Development Bank Group President Muhammad Al Jasser and CBA Chairman Taleh Kazimov.
Al Jasser reiterated IsDB's commitment to support Azerbaijan through capacity building and technical assistance to enhance the Islamic finance framework. He also lauded Azerbaijan's investments in the bank's "sukuk" and encouraged continued participation in this year's emissions.
