Insurance payments on accidents at work amount to AZN 2.6M

REPORT.AZ/ In January-October 2018, Azerbaijan-based insurers’ premiums on compulsory insurance against loss of professional work capacity as a result of labor accidents and occupational diseases amounted to AZN 30,243,700, up AZN 2,247,600 or 8.03% from January-September 2018, AZN 1,434,300 from previous year, Report informs citing the Financial Markets Supervisory Authority (FIMSA).

Payments on compulsory insurance against loss of professional work capacity as a result of labor accidents and occupational diseases in the reporting period stood at AZN 2,597,200, up 236,900 or 10.04% from January-September 2018, down AZN 34,900 or 1.33% in comparison to a year earlier.

Payments made up 8.59% of premiums.
