Insurance market grew by 13% in ten months: central bank

"Azerbaijan has accelerated the implementation of a comprehensive strategy to expand insurance market, include fundamental risks of population and business in the insurance coverage, increase the role of the insurance sector in economic development," Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Elman Rustamov said at the plenary meeting of the parliament.
"The works done in the field of insurance allow realizing its growth potential. As a result, in the first ten months of this year, the insurance market grew by 13% compared to the same period last year."
