According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Azerbaijan's exports of goods and services will amount to $32.7 billion in 2025, according to the IMF report on the economic development prospects of the Middle East and Central Asia, Report informs.
Azerbaijan's exports of goods and services next year, according to the fund's forecasts, will amount to $29.8 billion, and by the end of 2030 will decrease to $25.3 billion. In addition, according to the fund's expectations, Azerbaijan's imports of goods and services in 2025 will amount to $24.3 billion, in 2026 - $24.4 billion, and in 2030 will increase to $28.5 billion.
In 2024, Azerbaijan carried out trade operations with foreign countries for $47.612 billion, which is 7% less compared to 2023. Of the total foreign trade turnover, $26.554 billion were exports, and $21.58 billion were imports.
Over the past year, exports decreased by 21.7%, while imports increased by 21.8%.
