IFC: We are currently not part of discussions on IBA privatization

International Finance Corporation (IFC) is currently not part of discussions on the privatization of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA), IFC Director for Europe and Central Asia Wiebke Schloemer told Report.
‘IFC is committed to supporting sustainable growth and the diversification of Azerbaijan’s economy by helping to mobilize the power of the private sector. We are not in the position to expand on any details related to the privatization of the International Bank of Azerbaijan, as we are currently not part of discussions on the issue’.
IBA has been in operation since 1992.
