Government mortgage lending in January reaches $9.5M

In January, the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund (MCGF) of Azerbaijan allocated 16.1 million manats ($9.5 million) in loans, 82.95% more than in January 2023, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, the amount of loans refinanced by the Fund decreased by 30.1% to 20.9 million manats ($12.3 million).
The amount of funds raised by MCGF in January (it did not attract funds in the same period of last year) by issuing bonds amounted to 50 million manats ($29.4 million), no funds were allocated to the Fund from the state budget, as was the case 1 year ago.
