Gazprombank holds business mission in Azerbaijan

Baku. 13 April. REPORT.AZ/ Gasprombank jointly with Russian Export Center JSC and with the support of Trade Chamber of Russian Federation in Azerbaijan have organized business mission of Gazprombank Group's industrial enterprises.

Report informs, organizers demonstrated to participants of the event presentations on the opportunities offered by Gazprombank Group's industrial enterprises that are suppliers of unique technological equipment and complex solutions for key sectors of domestic and foreign economies: oil and gas, petrochemical, fuel and energy complex, metallurgy and mining.

Delegation includes representatives of Gazprombank, Izhora Plants PJSC, Kriogenmash PJSC, Uralkhimmash JSC, REP Holding JSC, UK UZTM-KARTEKS LTD, ERIELL GROUP, ENTER Engineering Group, Ingenix Group and Innovative Oil and Gas Technologies Ltd. Representatives of Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, delegates of largest companies of Azerbaijan - enterprises of oil and gas, petrochemical, energy, mining and metallurgical complex attended the event.

“Our countries have historically formed partnership relations and the business component is the most important aspect of it. At present our business cooperation develops fruitfully. I am confident that the Business Mission will give a new impetus to the ongoing projects of companies in Azerbaijan and will contribute to the expansion of the presence of the industrial group of Gazprombank in the Republic”, First Vice-President of Gazprombank Alexander Kaznacheev underlined.

SOCAR Polymer CEO Farid Jafarov noted that Gazprombank intends to expand its sphere of interests in Azerbaijan: “A special group to support industrial projects in Azerbaijan has been established in the bank. Today representatives of industrial companies presented their equipment. For further development of cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan, Russian financial resources are ready to support the sale of equipment to Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani producers and industrial projects in the country”. He noted that SOCAR Polymer is one of such projects. F.Jafarov reminded that Gazprombank allocated about $500 million for the SOCAR Polymer project. According to him, the project is being successfully implemented: “The main goal of this event is to expand economic cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan, increase value adding production for both countries”.
