Exchange rate of Russian ruble exceeds AZN 0.03 in Azerbaijan after 4-year break

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan set the exchange rate of the Russian ruble above 0.03 manat ($0.01) after a 4-year break, Report informs.
Now, today 1 ruble is equal to 0.0307 manat ($0.0176).
The last time the ruble was equal to 0.0301 manats was March 6, 2018.
After Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine, the national currency of this country has sharply depreciated against the background of severe sanctions imposed on it. Thanks to administrative control tools of the Bank of Russia (Central Bank) and the Ministry of Finance, the ruble has returned to pre-war levels.
