Eurasian Development Bank may finance some projects in Azerbaijan

The Eurasian Development Bank is ready to finance projects in various fields in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Ministry of Finance,

The matter was discussed during a Wednesday meeting between Finance Minister Sahil Babayev and a delegation led by Chairman of the EDB Management Board Nikolay Podguzov.

During the meeting, Podguzov provided detailed information on the establishment of the bank, its activities, current members, as well as projects financed in member countries. He noted that there are great opportunities for cooperation between the EDB and Azerbaijan.

Babayev noted that Azerbaijan is interested in further expanding cooperation with international financial institutions and that cooperation with the Eurasian Development Bank will also be considered.

The meeting exchanged views on the bank's activities, project financing procedures, and issues of mutual interest.
