EU may introduce a minimum wage

The decline in the total GDP of EU countries in the second quarter of 2020 was 12% year-on-year against the background of the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Report says, citing TASS.
The Head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen told speaking at the European Parliament session with an annual speech on affairs in the European Union.
According to her, the crisis also showed that the European Union needs to introduce a minimum wage, as many community residents do not have sufficient means of subsistence.
