Citizens to be able to open bank accounts without going to banks in Azerbaijan

Baku. 19 February. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan has prepared new rules on opening of bank accounts.
Acting Deputy Chairman of the Financial Markets Supervisory Authority (FIMSA) Asim Zulfugarov that citizens will be able to open bank accounts without going to banks.
"Moreover, there will be innovations on digitalization at the Compulsory Insurance Bureau: "ASAN Finance and E-Government portal will allow to extend the voluntary and compulsory insurance market. One of the main targets of the financial sector is digitalization and customer satisfaction. Share of e-operations on current accounts reached 24% last year, which means a twofold growth. However, we should not stop on this."
