Climate action related to mine action needs donors and funding, strategic planning advisor of the Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) Christelle Mestre said at the III International Humanitarian Demining Conference on “Mitigating Environmental Impact of Landmines: Resource Mobilization for a Safe and Green Future,” Report informs.
She stressed that it was critical for countries’ national financial authorities to integrate climate action into national environmental strategies.
