China interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in supreme audit

Azerbaijan and China have common interests and opportunities for cooperation in the economic and audit fields, said Kai Hou, the Auditor General of the China National Audit Office and the Secretary General of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI).

"These features create conditions for us to mutually promote experience sharing and institutional development. Currently, relations between China and Azerbaijan are experiencing the best period in history. Along with bilateral political relations, economic cooperation is also very close," Kai Hou told Report on the sidelines of the 62nd meeting of the Governing Board of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) held in Baku.

He added that close ties allow for further deepening of cooperation and exchange of experience between the supreme audit institutions of both countries.

"I think this is the most appropriate time for China and Azerbaijan. The relations between the two countries create an important foundation for further expanding the mutual cooperation of our audit institutions," the Chinese official emphasized.
