CBA reveals volume of money transfers to and from Azerbaijan in 2024

In 2024, money transfers to Azerbaijan totaled $1.083 billion, while transfers from Azerbaijan abroad reached $527 million, Samir Nasirov, Director of the Statistics Department at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), said during a briefing, according to Report.
Nasirov pointed out that the largest money transfers to Azerbaijan came from Russia ($497 million), Türkiye ($176 million), the US ($65 million), Georgia ($35 million), and the UK ($34 million).
As for money transfers from Azerbaijan abroad, the top five destinations were Türkiye ($150 million), the US ($60 million), Russia ($58 million), Georgia ($45 million), and the UK ($28 million).
