CBA: Incoming cash to Azerbaijan down 45%

In January-June of this year, money transfers to Azerbaijan decreased by 45%, to $891 million, Samir Nasirov, director of the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, said at a briefing, Report informs.
"The volume of transfers from the country was $254.5 million. 68% of incoming cash came from Russia, and Türkiye took the second place with $70.7 million. Türkiye ($64.6 million), Russia ($38.5 million) took the first place in money transfers from the country," he said.
According to Nasirov, in general, the surplus in money exchange decreased by 51% compared to the six months of 2022.
