CBA, ADB mull implementation of new technical assistance projects

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) discussed the implementation of new technical assistance projects, Report informs referring to the CBA.

CBA Chairman Taleh Kazimov met with a delegation led by ADB Vice President for South, Central and West Asia Yingming Yang, who is visiting Azerbaijan.

The sides discussed the macroeconomic situation and economic growth trends of Azerbaijan, issues of stimulating digital technologies and green financing, priorities identified within the Financial Sector Development Strategy for 2024-2026, as well as the possibility of expanding technical assistance projects with ADB and developing cooperation in other areas of mutual interest.

By results of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on further strengthening of relations between the parties.
