Bitcoin price index now reaches $ 2100

Baku. 22 May. REPORT.AZ/ Today the selling price of Bitcoin Price Index (BPI) in world markets has reached a record level of $ 2100 as of May 22. Report informs, compared with May 19 price for Bitcoin up by $ 102 or 5.1%.
The reason for growth in price is global political uncertainty. Demand for Bitcoin in Japan and South Korea reached a record high. Notably, earlier, the Japanese government has allowed to use Bitcoin as digital payment system. This in turn increases the volume of transactions via Bitcoin.
Notably, currently, the market capitalization of Bitcoin up to $ 34.15 bln. For comparison, Bitcoin market capitalization made $ 20.6 bln as of April 25.
