Azerbaijani banks' net foreign assets exceed 31.2B manats

As of July 1 this year, the net foreign assets of Azerbaijani banks totaled 31.22 billion manats, about $18.36 billion, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, CBA.
This is 3.8% higher than on June 1, 20.8% higher than at the beginning of the year, and 19.5% higher compared with July 1, 2025.
As of the reporting date, banks" net domestic assets stood at 21.71 billion manats, about $12.77 billion, up 1.4% month-on-month, but down 9.6% since the beginning of the year and 2.9% compared with the same period last year.
A total of 21 banks operate in Azerbaijan, with combined assets amounting to 60.94 billion manats, about $35.85 billion.
