Azerbaijani banks get 5% rise in manat deposits

As of March 1, 2021, the manat deposits in the Azerbaijani banks amounted to AZN 9,122.3 million, down 0.3% from the previous month, 4.2% from early 2021 and up 4.8% from a year earlier, Report informs, citing Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
The deposits in foreign currencies accounted for AZN 8,990.2 million in the reporting period, showing a 4.2% increase in comparison to a month ago. At the same time, this figure is 1.2% up from the beginning of the year, 12.9% down from 2020.
