Azerbaijan, US mull ensuring financial stability

Azerbaijan and the US have discussed ensuring financial stability, Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
The discussions took place during a meeting between CBA First Deputy Chairman Aliyar Mammadyarov and a delegation from the US Department of the Treasury visiting the country.
The meeting covered issues of banking supervision, ensuring financial stability, development of payment systems, risk management in the financial sector, corporate governance, and improvement of the regulatory framework.
An exchange of views took place regarding the prospects of cooperation between the CBA and the Department, as well as the possibilities of implementing technical assistance projects in the aforementioned areas.
