Azerbaijan sees nearly 14% decline in troubled loans

As of April 1, 2023, the overdue loans in Azerbaijan stood at 590.5 million manats ($347 million), down 2.6% from the previous month.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this figure is 0.5% less than in early 2023, and 13.8% less than a year earlier.
In the reporting period, the share of troubled loans in the total loan portfolio was 2.9%, while this figure was 3% in late February, 2.9% in late 2022, and 3.8% as of March 1, 2022.
