Azerbaijan sees 6% decline in transactions via foreigners' bank cards

In January-August 2023, the volume of transactions carried out by foreign citizens using bank cards in Azerbaijan amounted to 1,419.6 million manats ($0.83 billion), down 5.5% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Export Review presented by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
In August alone, the amount of transactions carried out by foreigners via bank cards amounted to 200.9 million manats ($118.18 million), 6.4% less than a year earlier.
