Azerbaijan sees 18% growth in premiums on compulsory real property insurance

Baku. 29 November. REPORT.AZ/ In January-October 2018, premiums of Azerbaijan-based insurers from compulsory real property insurance amounted to AZN 25,299,300, up AZN 1,792,40 or 7.62% from January-September 2018, AZN 3,854,500 or 17.97% from a year earlier, Report informs referring to the Financial Markets Supervisory Authority (FIMSA).

Payments on compulsory real property insurance in the reporting period stood at AZN 3,284,100, which is AZN 371,400 or 12.75% higher than the indicator of January-September 2018, AZN 897,100 or 36.55% than 2017.

Payments made up 12.98% of premiums.

Premiums on compulsory third party liability insurance associated with the use of the real property amounted to AZN 249,300, payments to AZN 65,000, relevantly up 11.05% and down 10.47% from January-September, up 4.92% and 2.7-fold from previous year.
